Contaminated Fabrics
Fabric that has been contaminated with engine oil, solvents and other industrial chemicals can be safely disposed of. We convert them into clean, green sustainable energy.
How we dispose of contaminated fabrics
Contaminated fabrics are classed as hazardous waste and so must be disposed of according to the hazardous waste disposal guidelines.
If not stored correctly, these fabrics can also be a fire risk. As the chemicals oxidise chemical reactions can cause spontaneous combustion. For this reason, they must be properly stored, preferably submerged in water in a metal container with a tight fitting metal lid.
When ready for disposal, Twinwoods Heat and Power can offer a competitive price. Contact us for advice and a quote.
